The overall objective of the Tycoon project is to offer a substantially improved persistent programming environment for the development of data-intensive applications in open environments.

Our work towards this goal is carried out in the following subprojects. Each subproject is described by a separate document that lists work items, project milestones, publications and demonstrations.

The Tycoon system is also used in the Style, Idomeneus and PolitIcon project as well as in some of our lab classes and seminars.
