Goals

The course teaches how large, complex software systems are developed using modern software engineering methods, models, and tools. The participants will learn to analyze application scenarios and to design information systems using the standard language for object-oriented analysis and design, the Unified Modeling Language (UML). They implement the designed systems in the object-oriented programming language Java.
