Use Cases

1.) Collect the list of the 5-10 most important actors for your airport information system scenario.

2.) For the use case diagramm presented on the slide define a use case catalog and enter the description of the use cases "buy ticket" and "ticket reservation" into this catalog. Use the use case catalog form.

3.) Add descriptions of the use cases "choose comnnection" and its specializations to the use case catalog. Describe the relationships between the use cases of exercise 2 and 3. Add this descriptions to use case catalog.

4.) For the following use case (luggage check-in) the special situation of overweight luggage has to be taken into account. Extend the use case with an extra use case. Use the extends-relationship and an extension point for this purpose.

5.) The following figure contains a set of different use cases and actors.

• Sort the use cases and define relationships betwen them. Use the relationships generalizes and includes.
• You should also connect the actors to the use cases.

6.) Define a stereotype "refines" for the relationship between use cases, that allows to refine use cases.

• Give a description of the intended semantics of this stereotype.
• Use this sterotype to refine the definition of the use case "starting" from exercise 5.
