About Myself

I am a postdoc in the institute for Software, Technology, and Systems (STS) at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). I received my diplom in informatics (computer science) from the University of Hamburg in 1998 and was a member of the Cognitive Systems Group from 10/1998 to 8/2004, then moved to STS. I wrote a book (dissertation) about software architectures for ontology-based information systems. I am a co-founder, consultant and software developer for Racer Systems, the company behind the description logic reasoner RacerPro. Recently, I worked partially for the EU-funded projects TONES and BOEMIE. I am the principal developer of the RacerPro query language (nRQL) and of the IDE for RacerPro (RacerPorter). |
